PALMER — The local battle against COVID-19 has become a little bit safer for first responders after acquiring more personal protective equipment (PPE).

The Town received 2,000 pairs of gloves, 125 Tyvek suits, masks, and a supply of 31 gallons of hand sanitizer per week, according to Town Manager Ryan McNutt.

“Again, great teamwork among three fire departments, a private ambulance company, the police, and Board of Health,” said McNutt. “Stronger together.”

McNutt reminded locals to follow COVID-19 precautions and guidelines, including social distancing, staying home, and washing hands.
