North Brookfield man wins “Lucky for Life” prize

Thibeault gets $390K before taxes on $2 ticket

DORCHESTER — Alfred Thibeault of North Brookfield is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize after the first five numbers on his Lucky for Life ticket matched those selected in the drawing that took place Thursday, July 11.  This is the seventh $25,000 a year for life prize won this year on a Lucky for Life ticket sold by the Massachusetts State Lottery.

Thibeault chose to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $390,000 (before taxes).  He purchased his winning Quic Pic ticket at Cumberland Farms, 225 Main St. in North Brookfield.  The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for its sale.

Lucky for Life tickets are $2 each.  Drawings are held every Monday and Thursday at 10:38 p.m.
