STURBRIDGE — Bethlehem Lutheran Church, in partnership with New Hope UCC, invites the public to hear the “Epic Story of God vs. Evil” this Holy Week.
As part of Holy Week, the churches will be hosting a Palm Sunday Drama on Sunday, March 25, at 10 a.m.; Maundy Thursday Tenebrae on Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m.; Good Friday Stations of the Cross at St. Anne Shrine on Friday, March 30 at 12 p.m.; Good Friday Drama of the Cross at Bethlehem on Friday, March 30, at 7 p.m.; and Festival Worship of the Resurrection of Our Lord on Easter Sunday, April 1 at 9:30 a.m.
All are welcome to this week of services that proclaims the mystery of God’s love; the saving events of Jesus’ suffering, death and resurrection. Each worship service will have its own character and live out the drama of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The churches will open the communion table to all at each service, inviting parishioners to become a part of the body that God makes in and through the community of the church.
