STURBRIDGE – A local family is frantically searching for a lost iPad mini that its 10-year-old daughter uses to communicate.
“We need your help finding one of our young resident’s iPad. What makes it so important is that this is her way of communicating and she relies on it every day,” Brimfield Police said in an alert on Facebook.
The family was shopping at Stop & Shop in Sturbridge and believes the child lost the device there. The iPad may have been left in a shopping cart, in the freezer section of the store or it could have been dropped in the parking lot, police said on Facebook.
The child uses the iPad to communicate her needs. Anyone who has found the phone is asked to bring it to the Brimfield Police Department or call police at 413-245-3442.
