CHARLTON — A multi-vehicle accident led to three individuals being taken to the hospital in the pre-dawn hours Saturday morning.

The accident occurred on the Massachusetts Turnpike at approximately 3:10 a.m., according to the Charlton Fire Department. Two passenger vehicles and two tractor-trailers were involved in the accident in the eastbound lane of the Pike, near mile marker 82.
