Tornadic activity a possibility in late afternoon
It’s that time of year. Expect a strong damaging line of storms to roll into our area today — Sturbridge/Southbridge area around 5 p.m.
Main threat with these storms will be damaging straight line winds and small hail. Though the ingredients for a tornado will be minimal, the chance for a brief tornado within Massachusetts and/or Connecticut can’t be completely ruled out.
Please heed any warnings given and stay away from trees and windows when the line is approaching.
