Motorcycle spotted in woods on Sunday morning
LEICESTER — Police are investigating the death of a motorcyclist who was found in a wooded area near Pleasant Street and Huntoon Memorial Highway on Sunday morning.
The motorcyclist, whose identity has not yet been made public as officials work to contact family members, was spotted by “a passerby” shortly before 7:00 a.m., according to a statement from the Leicester Police Department.
When police responded to the scene, they soon discovered a male nearby. The man was pronounced deceased on the scene. The circumstances and cause of the crash is being investigated by the Leicester Police Department, the CEMLEC Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
