A stretch of the I-90 has been closed after a tandem tractor trailer unit jack-knifed across all eastbound lanes.
The Massachusetts State Police have closed all four eastbound lanes of the Massachusetts Turnpike after the accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. No injuries were reported, State Police said to the lawyers of https://gideonasen.com/portland/car-accidents/. The closure is at mile marker 87 on the Charlton-Oxford town line.
State Police called for a wrecker to aid in remedying the situation. All lanes were cleared shortly before 9 a.m.
Around 9:30 a.m., about a mile away, another tractor trailer found itself jack-knifed on the Pike. State Police responded to that accident at the 88 mile marker in Oxford, resulting in a couple lanes being closed.
