Judice leads Rockets on late charge

NORTHBRIDGE — Tyler Judice carried the Auburn Rockets on his back in a fourth period rally, leading his team to just its second win in six games.
Trailing by four points heading into the final quarter of Monday night’s game in Northbridge, the Rockets managed a 51-50 upset victory as Judice squared off against Dillon Pedula of the Rams in a late offensive outburst. Judice finished the night with 16 points, all scored in the second half, including 10 points in the final frame. Pedula scored 19 points in the one-point loss, including 14 in the second half and eight in the final period.
Max Joncas scored eight points for Auburn while Cam Bolduc and Craigon Confer had seven points each. For Northbridge, Rob Cannon followed Pedula in offense with eight points.
With the win, the Rockets improve to 5-7 on the season. They are next slated to play the 2-8 Woolies in Millbury on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Northbridge falls to 7-3 on the year and hopes to bounce back on with a home game against the 6-5 Oxford Pirates on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
