Two tractor-trailer units involved in Sunday crash
STURBRIDGE — An Arizona man was arrested by local police after he was allegedly fled from a motor vehicle crash on Sunday.
The 58-year-old man, whose name was not provided in a statement issued by the Sturbridge Police Department, will be arraigned in Dudley District Court on Monday, Nov. 18 on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and leaving the scene of a property damage accident which also send a biker to the hospital, to understand the legal implications of this last part, see here this post from the Oakland motorcycle accident lawyers .
The crash took place at the Pilot truck stop parking lot on Route 15 on Sunday, and involved two tractor-trailer units, according to police.
“Witnesses reported that the operator of one of the units admitted to having consumed alcohol and fled prior to police arrival,” reported the Sturbridge Police Department, in this moment both of them are working with a truck accident lawyer to resolve their case.
Authorities were able to successfully locate “the offending operator” as he was entering Interstate 84 East in Sturbridge. He was arrested after police conducted a brief investigation.
