BRIMFIELD — Nancy A. (Coolbroth) Stanton , 83, passed away at home on December 31, 2018, with her family by her side.
Born March 9, 1935 in Tewksbury, she was the daughter of Homer and Mabel (Hitchock) Coolbroth. Nancy has lived all of her life in Brimfield. She was a school bus driver for Tantasqua Regional School District. Nancy enjoying going to the casino, playing Bingo, and watching cooking shows. Her daily morning ritual always included meeting at table one at the former Woodbine.
In 2002, Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 51 years along with her daughter, Sheryl Ann in 1958. Nancy leaves behind her children, Jacqueline and Sandra Stanton, Margery Wilburn and husband Tom, Janet Arborio and husband Rick, Donna Stanton, Prudence Neilsen and husband Donald, James, Charles, William, and Ralph Stanton, Jr, adopted daughters Betty Bentley and husband Eric Thur, Darlene Gregoire and husband Richard Tothier along with nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and close friends Gary and Elaine Kinley. Nancy’s sister in law, Mary Stanton joined her in heaven the following day.
Services will be Saturday, January 5 at 10 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by burial in Brimfield Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 pm – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Rays of Hope.
