SOUTHBRIDGE — Mary W. (Peters) Tetreault, 79, of Upland Ave., passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, April 11, after an illness.
She leaves her beloved husband of 55 years, Theodore G. Tetreault, Jr.; her three sons, John F. Tetreault of Winsted, CT, Theodore G. Tetreault III and his wife Lucy I. Santa of Southbridge and Timothy S. Tetreault and his wife Lisa of Dudley; his daughter, Rhonda A. Tetreault of Southbridge; a brother, Roy Peters of Douglas; two sisters, Virginia Suarz of Webster and Marie LaMontgne of Douglas; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by five brothers.
She was born in Douglas, the daughter Percy and Nancy (Casy) Peters.
In her younger years Mary worked in a shoe shop. She later moved to the area and started working at the American Optical Co. and Dexter Russell. Mary also worked for TrackMobile and most recently as a bus monitor for AA Transportation Co. in Shrewsbury. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church of St. John Paul II Parish in Southbridge. Mary enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband, the outdoors, and loved camping with her family and friends especially in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. One of Mary’s favorite places to visit was the Old Man on the Mountain.
Funeral services and burial for Mary will be private. There are no calling hours.
