CHARLTON — Doraine E. (Trifone) Wilson, 69, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, in the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, after a long illness.
She leaves her daughter, Michelle L. Wilson and her fiancé Peter Quagliaroli of Stafford, Conn.; her brother, Keith “Chuck” Trifone and his wife Diane of Southbridge; her two sisters, Beverly Donais and her husband Roger of Charlton and Christine Phillips and her husband Sherman of Charlton; her five grandchildren, Kyle Libiszewski, Morgan Lane, Taylor Wilson, Meadow Williams and Corey Vizard; and many nieces and nephews. Her son, Clifford Wilson, Jr., passed away in 2015. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Alfred Trifone and Timothy Trifone and two sisters, Kathleen Benoit and Brenda Trifone. Doraine was born in Southbridge the daughter of Alfred and Beulah Mae (Neely) Trifone.
Doraine worked at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for many years and later worked at Gentex in Dudley for several years before retiring several years ago. She also previously worked at the Charlton Woolen Mill in Charlton. Doraine enjoyed country music, walking, painting and iced coffee. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Calling hours for Doraine will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton, will be held at the convenience of the family.
