SOUTHBRIDGE – The Ruth Wells Center for the Arts will launch its annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Sale Friday, Nov. 9. An opening reception that night, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. will kick off the sale with a vendor meet-and-greet, refreshments and a first-pick selection of items for sale. Artists and crafters with tables inside the Ruth Wells Center will include makers of a variety of items including paintings, jewelry, hand-painted scarves, candles, soap, knitted items, plants, wooden figures and many other items. Holiday shoppers can begin, and possibly complete, gift purchases for the season at this fundraiser for the Ruth Wells Center for the Arts, while also supporting local merchants.
In addition to the opening reception, the holiday craft fair will be open for business Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 11, from noon to 4 p.m. The Ruth Wells Center for the Arts is Located at 111 Main Street in Southbridge and was formerly known as The Quinebaug Valley Council for the Arts and Humanities in previous years of the sale.
