SOUTHBRIDGE – Auditions for “It’s A Wonderful Life, a live radio play” by Joe Landry will be held on Monday and Wednesday, Sept. 10 and 12 at noon and 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Elm Street Congregational Church, 61 Elm Street. Entrance is on Summer Street. Men and women are needed for this production scheduled for Nov. 30, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Wear comfortable clothes and plan to have a good time. Teenage actors are also encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals will be on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Mary Gahagan is directing, with Barbara Day as the producer. This play brings the traditional holiday feelings to life, in a warm and friendly setting. This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds ad he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
