DUDLEY — Three Shepherd Hill Regional High School students have been recognized by the Jae S. Lim Foundation in recognition of their academic success and their potential in mathematics and science.
Established in 2010 by MIT Professor Jae S. Lim, the Jae S. Lim Foundation is a private foundation who realizes that mathematics and science skills are critical for the next generation of American professionals. One of their missions is to help U.S. students reach their full potential in these subjects through grants to schools and educational organizations.
Shepherd Hill’s Edison Doko, Catherine Fengler, and Hannah Guerin were chosen for their work ethic, academic strength, and mathematical and scientific potential. Fengler and Guerin are mathematics recipients while Doko is a science recipient.
In the original posting of this piece, the headline erroneously identified Hannah Guerin as “Guertin.” While the story and photo caption both correctly identified her, a typo appeared in the headline. This error has since been rectified. The Citizen Chronicle regrets the error.
