‘The Lost World’ tells the tale of a 20-year high school reunion attended by only six people. This is not just any six people — these are six individuals who claim to have hated high school the most. Brought together 20 years later by a common friend, the six former classmates find themselves face-to-face in a discount hotel ballroom for one fateful night of laughs, fights, tears, and soul-searching; as they drag their skeletons to the light in a bid to exorcise the personal demons that have haunted them since they last patrolled those hallowed halls of high school. Children of the 1980s now all grown up; they’re ‘The Breakfast Club’ thrust into the Facebook generation — leading them to pine for a simpler time; an age where if you wanted to connect with someone; you reached out and touched them; not texted, tweeted or Skyped. Their world is truly “The Lost World”.
