Every June, however, OSV salutes its early heritage with an annual antique car rally featuring dozens of automobiles from 1946 and earlier.

The antique car rally is included with standard daytime admission, a season pass, or Village membership. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Carl Beane Memorial Softball Tournament

HOLLAND — The fifth annual Carl Beane Memorial Softball Tournament will be held at Hitchcock Field, next to Town Hall, police station, and Holland Elementary School.

The event is held in the memory of Carl Beane, who served as the public address announcer for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park from 2003 until his untimely death in 2012. Beane, also a radio personality in the area, was a longtime resident of Holland who had a significantly positive influence on members of the community.

The money raised in the tournament, which begins at 8 a.m., will benefit the Carleton E. Beane Memorial Scholarship. The proceeds from this year’s tournament will be awarded to a to-be-determined Holland resident and Tantasqua Regional High School student in good standing upon graduation in 2020.
