Organizers promise “an entertaining outing of whopper proportions”
CHARLTON — The Conservation Commission and Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife are co-sponsoring an opportunity for locals to try their luck at fishing.
All fishing gear will be provided for free and no fishing license or experience is needed for the Town of Charlton Fishing Day at Fay Mountain Farm Snows Pond on Cemetery Road. There will be instructors available for participants with food and drink vendors on scene as well.
Town of Charlton Fishing Day runs on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to all participants.
There are no age restrictions and people of all ages, children and adults, are encouraged to cast a line.
“Come enjoy a day of free fishing,” a promotional flyer reads. “Bring the whole family for an entertaining outing of whopper proportions.”
