AUBURN ā Members of the REALTORĀ® Association of Central Massachusetts, led by the Associationās Community Action Committee, spearheaded a Backpack Drive to assist students in need in Worcester County and the surrounding areas.

From June to August, Association members rallied to provide backpacks and school supplies to children that might otherwise go without. Items donated included backpacks, pens, pencils, crayons, highlighters, glue, folders, rulers, along with many other essentials for students starting school in the fall. āBackpack stuffingā by Committee members and RACM Staff took place in August so that a full supply was available for distribution at the start of the school year.
The Community Action Committee is dedicated to organizing members of the Association in various drives throughout the year to assist community members in need. According to the Committee, this yearās backpack drive saw over 200 backpacks donated to school children in the cities and towns including: Auburn, Charlton, Oxford, Paxton, Southbridge, Sutton, Webster, and Worcester.
This is an annual drive and anyone needing future assistance should contact the REALTORĀ® Association of Central Massachusetts.
