Space donated, church to pay only for utilities
SOUTHBRIDGE —A group of local parishioners will soon begin worshipping in a new location after a charitable agreement with Franklin Realty Advisors.
A multi-year lease was recently signed between commercial real estate development leader Franklin Realty Advisors and Southbridge based House of Destiny Ministries, Inc. House of Destiny will occupy 9,300 square feet of space on the first floor of 70 Optical Drive. Franklin Realty Advisors has donated the space to the church and House of Destiny Church will only be responsible for utilities.
Located on the 150-acre campus of the Southbridge Innovation Center, a sprawling complex that once served as the manufacturing flagship for the American Optical Company, the 1.2 million square-feet, the property contains twelve buildings, including the well-known Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center, as well as office, manufacturing, distribution, and classroom space, and with the remaining vacant buildings ear-marked for laboratory, residential, and data storage development.
