Monday, March 26
Family Foundations 5 Playgroup — This free program for preschool aged children is sponsored by the Union 61 Family Foundation 5 Grant. The playgroup runs every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. until May, while school is in session. Sen-I Judo Club — This course runs all year long and is well suited for all levels of practitioners including beginners. Call Sensei Israel Lopez 413-279-4330 for more information.
Violin/Viola With Linda — Private violin or viola lessons by Linda Day on an ongoing basis. Ms. Day teaches all ages and levels, and offers a variety of musical styles to suit the interests of the students. Children ages 5-7 must be accompanied by an adult, and students under age 18 must have a completed consent form. There are six 30-minute lessons from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is a $148 fee for these lessons.
Weight Watchers — Angela Kramer leads local Weight Watchers meetings with weigh-ins and registrations at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting beginning at 6 p.m. Visit the meting where you can become and get a diet, workout routine and a testosterone booster to boost the results.

Make It With Marcia — Explore the history of symbols and designs used in Ukrainian Easter Eggs and create one of your own using raw eggs, dye, wax, and a stylus. This class, taught by Marcia Beal, costs $24 per person and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Watercolors With Beth — Ongoing watercolor classes for all levels with a new painting every three weeks. You must register with instructor Beth Parys in advance to attend. Great Gardening — Join a horticulturist and pruning specialist exploring the fundamentals of pruning woody plants. Topics will include pruning timeline, basic pruning methods and techniques, tool selection and a look at common shrubs that benefit from yearly pruning such as hydrangeas and roses. The class, run by Jessica Groleau, costs $10 per person and runs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday, March 23
Alcoholics Anonymous — Traditional open AA meetings in a friendly setting at 7:30 p.m.. Come early to chat and share in refreshments.
Let’s Start a Jam Band — Bring your own instruments or use a variety of djembes and hand drums and join local musician Tim Kane in learning covers and creating original songs as a group. Members will be invited to perform all of these selections at Make Music Day on June 21. This course is $80 per person and runs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on March 30, April 6, April 13, May 4, May 18, May 25, June 1, and June 8. The class is led by Tim Kane of Kane School of Drums.
