Award-winning cartoonist to share work, lesson in Dudley

Stromoski’s ‘Cartooning for Kids’ geared to ages 7-12

DUDLEY — A nationally syndicated and award-winning cartoonist and illustrator will be sharing tips and secrets of the trade in a free event geared to pre-teens later this month.

Rick Stromoski’s work appears in national magazines, book publishing, licensing, newspaper syndication, children’s publishing, advertising and humor publications. His “Cartooning for Kids” presentation at the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Public Library is designed with children ages 7-12 in mind. “Cartooning for Kids” is a free event scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, in the library’s Fels Community Room.
