Traffic stop leads to drugs discovered in spare tire

CHARLTON — Three kilograms of suspected Fentanyl was seized by law enforcement after being found in a spare tire last week.
The Massachusetts State Police announced the seizure of the opioids on Wednesday, one week after the confiscation occurred. According to State Police, troopers assigned to the barracks in Charlton stopped a white Toyota SUV driven by an unidentified female on April 22. As a result of the traffic stop and subsequent investigation, State Police said they found three kilograms of suspected Fentanyl concealed in a spare tire.
State Police said no further information on the matter is being released at this time.
