PALMER — Authorities apprehended three drug dealers who fled a traffic stop and led police on a chase through four western Massachusetts communities on Monday night.

Each of the three men were arrested on drug-related charges, while the driver faced numerous other charges after leading police on a chase through Ludlow, Wilbraham, Monson, and Palmer. The vehicle came to an end only after the Palmer Police Department utilized tire spike strips, which led to the occupants being taken into custody on Bourne Street.

The pursuit stemmed from Ludlow Police Officers Daniel Soares and Andrew Roxo spotting a black 2004 Toyota Camry that matched the description of a suspect vehicle seen in the area of a home break-in the day prior. As officers exited their cruisers to approach the vehicle, it quickly fled the scene, according to Ludlow Police.
