LEICESTER — An unidentified man was lucky on Monday night, escaping a scary roll over accident without injury.
Shortly after 8 p.m., Leicester Police were notified of a car accident in front of 359 Pleasant Street on Route 56. While the vehicle came to a stop on its roof, caving in under the weight of the vehicle, the driver was able to free himself and, police said, “walked away from the crash uninjured.”
The accident was the second of note in Leicester on Monday as a black Ford Fusion slid off Chapel Street, hit a tree, and almost went into the frigid waters of a pond. That accident occurred on snow-covered roads at approximately 7:45 a.m., police said.
