Driver, passenger taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries

PALMER — Two people were taken to an area hospital overnight after a rollover accident on South Main Street overnight.
According to the Palmer Police Department, the rollover accident occurred at approximately 12:59 a.m. when a pickup truck driven by a Monson man left the roadway and struck two parked vehicles in a South Main Street driveway. The identities and ages of the driver and his female passenger, a Ludlow resident, were not publicly released.
The driver and his passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police report. Police said they were assisted on the scene by the Monson Police Department, Palmer Fire Department, Palmer EMS, and Monson EMS. Law enforcement continues to investigate the crash and charges are pending.
