Black firearm brandished before fleeing in Buick sedan

Sturbridge Police are seeking the public’s help with any leads after an unidentified man allegedly robbed the Sturbridge Post Office on Wednesday afternoon, fleeing eastbound toward Southbridge in a brown Buick sedan with no visible license plates.

STURBRIDGE — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing the post office.

The unidentified caucasian male allegedly robbed the Sturbridge Post Office on Wednesday afternoon, showing a black firearm as part of the robbery. The man was wearing a light-colored cap, long-sleeved orange top, and jeans at the time of the robbery. He fled the post office, entering a brown Buick sedan with no visible license plates, and turned left out of the post office parking lot, heading east in the general direction of Southbridge.

Sturbridge Police Officer Garrett Danna is investigating and is being assisted by the Postal Inspectors Office. Anyone with information is being asked to call the Sturbridge Police at (508) 347-2525.
