STURBRIDGE — Roman Krochmalnyckyj worked five strong innings, helping to lead the Tantasqua Warriors to a 6-1 victory over the visiting Uxbridge Spartans on Tuesday afternoon.

Krochmalnyckyj struck out three and surrendered one run before Deven Kingman worked the final two frames for the Warriors.

Tantasqua bolstered what was a 2-1 lead with a three-run fifth inning, tacking on an additional insurance run on the sixth inning. Kingman helped pace the offense with two RBI.

The Warriors have a road game on Wednesday, slated to take on the Northbridge Rams at 3:45 p.m.
