AUBURN — The Rockets snapped a three-game winning streak in a low-scoring affair against the visiting Bellingham Blackhawks, 46-36, on Monday night.

Michael Reissfelder led both squads with 20 points in the game, accounting for nearly half of his team’s offense. John LaRose contributed with 13 points for Bellingham, and Corey Chiappone chipped in with 11 points.

Matty Backlin led the Auburn offense with 14 points, all but four of which came in the second half. Tyler Judice and Max Joncas scored seven points each for the Rockets.

The loss puts Auburn at 7-7 on the season, 5-4 in league play. The Rockets hope to get back on track Thursday evening against the visiting Grafton Indians at Auburn High School. That game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. tip off.
