AUBURN — Wanda J. (Passie) Pisinski, 95, of Auburn died Sunday April 15, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence after an illness.

Wanda was born and raised in Worcester daughter of the late Thomas Pasaj and Stella (Podczsna) Pasaj. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked for 23 years in Worcester for Filene’s.

She loved spending time with her family at the Cape and Maine. Wanda was an avid bowler, bowling in many leagues. She loved playing bingo and taking many trips to Foxwoods. She was a Red Hat Honey, spending many wonderful times with them.

Wanda was predeceased in 2000 by her husband of 54 years, Henry J. Pisinski. She leaves a daughter, Gail DuPont and her husband Richard of Kennebunk, Maine; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; son-in-law, Paul Bergquist of Northborough; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Wanda was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Bergquist and two sisters, Helen Poreda and Loretta Morris.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Wanda’s funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday April 18, at North American Martyr’s Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. At Wanda’s request calling hours and burial will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to The Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.
