STURBRIDGE — Theresa R. (Nadeau) St.Laurent, 87, a longtime resident of Sturbridge, died Tuesday, March 27, at UMass Memorial Health Care/University Campus, after a brief illness.

She is survived by five sons, André St. Laurent and his wife Debbie of Gloucester, Marius St. Laurent of Sturbridge and his companion Joan Bernier, Conrad St. Laurent of Holland and his companion Wendy LeSage, Henry St. Laurent of Fitchburg and his companion Carol Summers, and Gerard St. Laurent and his wife Debra L. of Sturbridge, and five grandchildren. She also is survived by four brothers, Roland, Robert, Bertrand, and Armand, and five sisters Yvonne, Lucille, Jeanne, Hermonce, and Gisele, all of Sherbrook, Canada, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine children, Victor, Gilbert, Donald, Diane, Carmen, Gaston, Denis, Francois and Joseph, by her brother Jacques Nadeau, and by her former husband Marc St. Laurent, who died in 2015.

She was born in St. Isidore d’ Auckland, Canada, daughter of Josephat and Mary (Perron) Nadeau, and has lived here for many years. She was a faithful communicant of St. Anne’s Church in Fiskdale. She worked for 38 years at the Sturbridge Host Hotel, retiring in 2016.

The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m. in St. Anne/St. Patrick’s Church, 16 Church Street, Fiskdale. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. prior to the mass at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Anne/St. Patrick’s Church, 16 Church Street, Fiskdale, MA 01518.  Burial will be in Canada.
