WEBSTER — Herman E. Piehl, age 95, died Friday, March 16, surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his devoted wife, Louise M. (Siegmond) Piehl of Webster; his sons Ernest Piehl and his wife Judy of Ft. McCoy, Fla., Donald Piehl and his wife Carol of Webster; his daughter Deborah Perloff and her husband Leonard of Plymouth, N.H.; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Herman was born in Charlton, the son of the late Adolph Piehl and Louise (Kietzmann) Piehl.  He served in the United States Army during World War II.  Herman worked as a machinist for Norton Company for several years.  All funeral services are private.  Arrangements have  been entrusted to Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.  Donations may be made in his memory to Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic, 605 Lincoln  Street, Worcester MA 01605
