PALMER — Harry B. Gordon, 88, died on January 2, 2019 in Wilbraham.

Born February 23, 1930 in Sturbridge, he was the son of Alick B. and Gertrude C. (Motherway) Gordon. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving his country during the Korean War. Harry worked as a master tool maker for Springfield Spring Corp. for 45 years before retiring. In his leisure he enjoyed cooking and baking and was an avid U Control Model Airplane enthusiast.

He will be deeply missed by his three children, Clifford Gordon of Cape Coral, Fla., Keith Gordon and his wife Jeanie of Three Rivers, and Sheila Fayle and her husband Stephen of Belchertown, along with his three grandchildren, Alexander, Geoffrey and Christopher Gordon as well as a niece Margaret (Trudy) Heckendorf. Besides his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife Beverly (Merrill) Gordon and his siblings, Roger Gordon, Clifford Gordon and Margaret (Peg) Dudek.

There will be no public services and the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.
