SOUTHBRIDGE — Ann Rita (Thileault) Fournier, 58, of Maple Terrace, passed away on Monday, March 12, in St. Vincent hospital, Worcester, after an illness.
Her loving husband of 27 years, Charles D. Fournier died in 2017. She leaves her son, Aaron C. Fournier of Southbridge; two sisters, Joan Sullivan and her husband Richard of Southbridge and Mary Ellen Hoog and her husband Andreas of Ulm, Germany; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born in Southbridge the daughter of George H. and Rena J. (Molini) Thibeault. She was a graduate of Becker Junior College receiving her associates degree in business.
Ann worked as a customer representative for All Star Premium in Sturbridge before her illness. She previously worked at JC Penny’s in Sturbridge for 15 years and worked for Century 21 Reality in Southbridge for 20 years. She was a lifelong devoted member of St. Mary’s parish, now St. John Paul II parish, in Southbridge, and was a member and past president of its St. Rita’s Society. She also lent her talents to the St. John Paul II Parish Pray Shawl Ministry. At home she was a superb cook and above all a devoted wife and mother.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 19, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton, St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Sunday, March 18, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
